The mission of the Idaho Golf Tour is simple - grow the game of golf throughout the Idaho community. We aim to do this by providing a fair, competitive outlet for golfers of all skill levels to compete for the highest tournament payouts in the state.
Our Model
The Idaho Golf Tour is designed for golfers of all abilities, offering a unique blend of flexibility and fierce competition. Our tournament model allows you to compete on your schedule while maintaining the integrity of the game with the most effective tournament handicap system available. For the two majors & tour championship, we all compete on the same day in a more traditional tee-time format.
Regular Tournaments
Competitive Golf on Your Time
Our regular tournaments give you a two-week window to play your round at the designated course, allowing you to fit competitive golf into your schedule. To ensure fairness, all rounds must be scored and verified by another Idaho Golf Tour member.
Majors & Tour Championship
For our Majors and Tour Championship, every competitor plays on the same day with assigned tee times, delivering the intensity and structure of a traditional tournament setting.
Handicaps
The Best Handicapping Model in Tournament Golf
We use our own proprietary handicap model to eliminate sandbagging and protect the integrity of competition. Whether you're competing in a regular tournament, a Major, or the Tour Championship, you can trust that every round is fair and every result is earned.
Flighted Competition
All Idaho Golf Tour events are flighted and award payouts for both gross and net results. Players also accumulate points throughout the season, battling for the coveted Player of the Year title on both the gross & net race.

All tournament winnings are added to your Idaho Golf Tour account, allowing you to accumulate earnings throughout the season and redeem them for the things that matter most to you.
