Referrals
How It Works
• When a 2025 IGT Membership is purchased, golfers will receive a unique referral tracking code tied to their account.
• The referring member must have an active IGT membership to participate.
• The referred golfer must be "net-new" to the Idaho Golf Tour (no prior membership last season).
• During checkout, the new golfer simply enters the referring member's referral code when purchasing their annual membership.
• The promo code applies a $0.01 discount to the new golfer's membership fee (this is purely for tracking purposes).
• Once the membership is processed, both the referring member and the new member will receive $25 in IGT credits to use toward future events or purchases.

Handicaps
What handicap system does the Idaho Golf Tour use for tournaments?
All Idaho Golf Tour participants (members and guests) will receive an IGT handicap based on the rounds they play in the tour. The handicap is calculated as the average of their 4 best differential scores out of their last 10 IGT rounds, using the same differential formula as the USGA GHIN system.
If a participant hasn't played at least 4 IGT rounds over the previous season + current season, their GHIN low index from the past 12 months will be used instead. Once they complete 4 IGT rounds, their IGT handicap will take over.
Should a participant not qualify for an IGT handicap based on the four IGT round minimum, and they don't carry an active, up-to-date GHIN handicap, they will only be eligible for gross payouts in the championship flight.
Tour committee reserves the right to adjust any non-IGT handicaps at their discretion to protect the field.
Can I get my GHIN through the Idaho Golf Tour?
Yes! All Idaho Golf Tour Memberships will have a GHIN handicap included.
Idaho Golf Tour Credit FAQs
How do I see my account balance?
Make sure you are logged into your account (if you don't have an account on Idaho Golf Tour's site, create one. Your IGT Credit will be put on your account once your account has been created). Once you're logged into your account, IF you have any IGT credit, it'll show in the top right of the screen just under the cart icon.
How do I spend my Idaho Golf Tour credit?
Once you are logged into your account AND you have IGT credit available, add the items you wish to purchase into your cart (DO NOT HIT CHECKOUT YET!). From the Your Cart screen, click the "You Have $" button on the top right and select the amount of credit you want to use. Then hit Checkout from the "You Have $" pop-up screen.
Can I do split payments with IGT credit and CC/Debit card?
If you have enough credit to cover your purchase, your total should be $0.00 and you can proceed through the checkout process as normal. If you do not have enough to cover your balance, you'll need to enter payment info after entering billing information.
Is there anything I can't buy using my Idaho Golf Tour credit?
Currently the only things not available for purchase with your Idaho Golf Tour credit are annual memberships and sponsorships.
When does my Idaho Golf Tour credit expire?
All Tour credit will expire annually on December 31.
Idaho Golf Tournament FAQs
Are the green fees included in the tournament entry fee?
For majors, yes. For regular tournaments, no. This allows members to play whenever they want and reduce their overall entry fee by playing twilight vs premium rates. More importantly, it allows us to pick and choose courses we want to play for regular events without being at the mercy of tee-times.
What are the different tournament types?
Currently, we have regular tour events and majors. All of our majors are held on single-day events where the entire field plays the same day. For regular events, you MUST play with at least one other Idaho Golf Tour member for your round to be validated.
Are the tournaments flighted?
Yes! Typically we have 2-3 flights based on your handicap.
Are there net and gross payouts?
Absolutely! Within each flight, we'll pay top finishers in both gross and net. Payouts will be in the form of Idaho Golf Tour credits and various sponsor gift cards.
What is the Idaho Golf Tour cancellation policy?
We send out tournament flights and payout information PRIOR to the tournament starting. Unfortunately this is necessary to ensure the integrity of our events. Ultimately, this doesn't allow for cancellations after the tournament registration.

Idaho Golf Tour Cup FAQs
How are the IGT Cup standings determined?
At every event, points for the IGT Cup will be awarded with the same point structure that the FedEx Cup awards for regular Tour events and Majors. All ties will result in points being awarded through a tie-breaking method (3 players tie for 2nd place, points for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th will be divided by 3 and awarded to the 3 players).
At the conclusion of every event, all players will be put into a single flight and points will be awarded for both gross and net and will be added to that player’s running total for each the Gross & Net standings of the IGT Cup.

How do I qualify for the Tour Championship?
Simple. Be a IGT Tour member and play in at least (5) Tour events over the course of the 2025 season and you'll be invited to play in the Tour Championship. Due to the higher payouts in both points and purse, only IGT Tour Members will be eligible for the Tour Championship.
